The Tiny Mistake People Make Which Leads to a Huge Belly

Could it be that the diet program you’re doing is the wrong one for your body?

When I first got married, I surprised my wife by making here an incredibly delicious desert. It was my first attempt and really didn’t have time to read all steps in the cookbook, which was a small omission, later turning into a huge disaster. I accidently used baking soda instead of flour. As she took her first bite, I was all set be labeled as the ‘great cook’ but to my surprise, I was blocked out of the kitchen.

Its amazing how one tiny mistake can lead to such a disaster.

I recently came across a very interesting new concept of weight loss that relates to a common yet tiny mistake people make when trying to lose belly fat. Author, health educator, Dr. Eric Berg discovered that people who are overweight fall into four different body types requiring four different plans. The types related to where people hold their weight. Some people have sagging bellies, some have protruding, yet others hold weight in the hip area or just overweight all over. Dr. Berg states that the fundamental mistake people make is doing the wrong program for their body type. This is a small error that puts a person on the wrong road map towards achieving their weight loss goal.

This hit home to me personally because I know certain people are successful with the higher protein diets and others do better with higher amounts of carbohydrates. His website hit home for me because after taking the quiz, he described me to a T. I wondered how he knew all my problems; it was like he was talking just to me.

Dr. Berg explains on his site that if a person is storing fat in the belly, it is because of a hormone imbalance, not a lack of doing sit-ups. He said the person would crave salty foods and need something sweet after a meal. This type also occasionally gets a twitch under the left eye lid and tight calf muscles.

Through diagnosing the body type, and finding the gland involved, a person can get a customized program that matches the problem.

    • hi i live in the uk and have bought your book and think its great but im a little confused over the body types. i have both thyroid and adrenal issues and take medication for both and have symptoms of both as per your descriptions but i also had my gall bladder oout several years ago so after the two liver cleanse part which i know im going to hugely struggle with due to the lack of protien which one do i go onto next the liver adrenal or thyroid? many thanks sylvia
